Manuka Honey MGO 152+ 500g

Mānuka honey is a wonder of nature and world-renowned for its unique properties. Our Master Beekeepers’ favourite honey is raw, straight from the hive. For us this means the bare minimum of processing needed to extract honey out of the comb and into glass jars. All Master Beekeeper raw mānuka honey is single batch. It’s never blended, always a bit different. You can scan the QR code to find out where the bees foraged for the honey in your jar. We don’t heat raw mānuka honey beyond natural hive temperatures. Neither is it creamed. This means our honey retains its healthy enzymes and full flavour. Mānuka honey contains a range of beneficial oligosaccharides and prebiotics, amino acids, and methylglyoxal (MGO). MGO is the compound found in mānuka honey that is responsible for its incredible antibacterial effect. Because this compound is not found in other honeys, except in very small amounts, MGO levels are the gold standard for assessing the unique properties of this incredible, pure New Zealand mānuka honey. Biohoney Master Beekeeper raw Mānuka Honey MGO152+ has a minimum methylglyoxal (MGO) content of 152mg/kg, tested by an independent laboratory. Biohoney Master Beekeeper raw mānuka honey is sourced solely from New Zealand’s South Island and is available in a variety of sizes.
