About Farmthru

Real food, from the people who grow it.

We started Farmthru because somewhere along the way, the link between Australian kitchens and Australian farms got lost. We're putting it back — one farm, one order, one meal at a time.

Why we exist

Most groceries don't tell you the story.

The supermarket aisle is full of confident-sounding labels and empty promises. "Farm fresh", "natural", "Australian made" — words that have stopped meaning much. Meanwhile, the farms doing the right thing get squeezed out by margins they can't survive.

Farmthru is a direct line. We work with a small group of family farms across Australia who raise animals on pasture, build soil instead of mining it, and refuse to take shortcuts. We carry their products to your door without the middle layers that strip out quality and meaning.

When you shop here, you're not buying from a brand — you're buying from a farmer.

How it works

Farm → hub → kitchen.

A simple chain. Three steps. No middlemen taking a cut, no warehouses stockpiling for months, no guesswork about where the food came from.

Step 01

Farm

Family-run, regenerative, pasture-raised — chosen one farm at a time.

Step 02

Hub

We aggregate weekly, cold-chain intact, with no intermediaries adding markup.

Step 03

Kitchen

Pickup or delivery within days of harvest — fresh, traceable, yours.

What we stand for

Four things we won't compromise on.

Pasture & soil first

Animals raised on pasture. Soils nourished, not depleted. The farms we partner with put long-term land health ahead of short-term yield.

Traceable to the farm

Every product tells you where it came from — the farm, the family, the practices. No mystery middle, no nameless brands.

Fair to producers

Farmers set their own prices. We take a transparent margin and pay weekly. The people growing your food can afford to keep growing it.

Vetted, always explained

We check labels, certifications, and farming practices before a product makes the catalog. If it's here, we'll tell you why.

Eat better. Know your farmer.

Pick up an order, get something delivered, or come behind the scenes by following along with the farms we work with.
