When sourcing our ingredients we have ensured that they have their own organic certifications. The only exception to this is the naturally derived salt, which under Australian Organic Certification standards is also exempt. One day we hope to obtain independent organic certification for the Cool Medjool product.

We make our own chocolate using Peruvian cacao that is: certified organic, fair trade, single origin, GMO free, neither fumigated nor irradiated on import and has been tested to ensure mycotoxins and heavy metals are well below Australian standards.

Founded in Australia by Annabelle Miller & Matt Durrant, the friends met whilst working at Berkelo, an artisan sourdough bakery. Driven by the collective belief that healthier snacking needn't compromise on flavour or ethics, Cool Medjool brings together rich medjool dates, premium dark chocolate, and wholesome fillings, all crafted with care for people and planet.
